collecting it can often be expensive, but as the world markets have shown,
choosing the right piece can also be money well invested. When building a good
collection or acquiring a piece of art for the home or the office it is well
worth seeking out the proven art dealers, which is where an established gallery

Corporate Collecting:
We recommend that before making any costly
purchases that you meet with a professional art consultant. Your company's image and profile is an important asset in today's
business world and it is increasingly popular for companies and private practices to acquire art
reflecting the ethos of their company or for investment purposes; which in
turn is uplifting both to clients and employees.
When acquiring art, keep
your clients in mind. The artwork a company displays often
sends a direct message to either their visitors or clients, and often can

to assist with the delivery, positioning and hanging of paintings within your home or

Commissioning a work of Art:
It is not always
possible to find the piece of art that you are looking for, maybe the subject
is ideal but the dimensions do not suit its intended space. It may help to commission a
piece to suit your requirements and we would be delighted to arrange this on
your behalf with one of our artists.
Exhibition space:
If you are
considering holding an exhibition with Orpheus Gallery, please arrange
an appointment to see us where we can informally discuss your
exhibition. We would advise you to reserve the space well in advance of your
planned dates.
Valuation:
It is always advisable to keep a catalogue of your artwork as
it is purchased. This can be achieved by appointing an employee or
consulting a gallery or art consultant. Good maintenance with updated records
helps to prevent confusion in the future concerning damage, loss and value. We
are able to offer an evaluation and catalogue service to Cyprus based companies
and private collectors.
Interior Design
If you have an existing space or planned future changes we
may be able to help. Often Interior Designers are consulted towards the end of
a new build or refurbishment, which can often be too late to make additional changes at a
minimal cost. Our
qualified interior designer is able advise you on design layout and also offer art to compliment both your home and
office or both. Installation of works purchased from Orpheus
Gallery is free of charge. Interior Design is offered on an appointment
only basis.
